Workshops
We are now offering an all new workshop to introduce our special approach to Shakespeare and the secrets to brilliant classical acting.
Shakespeare ReVisited
What tools would you need to work along side Judy Dench or Ian McKellen in a Shakespeare production? How well are your audition pieces serving you to get those jobs? In this workshop, you will revisit Shakespeare monologues and learn a new way into those fabulous and complex characters of Shakespeare. You will be provided with exercises and tricks to move your classical audition piece to better performance levels, incorporating body language and vocal choices that are supported by given circumstances and integrated with the deepest parts of you.
Bring Yourself into the Text and the Text into Character! This workshop will be totally hands on, working in groups and solo, in a fun, supportive environment. You will be asked to bring a prepared classical monologue that you currently use for auditions (no longer than three minutes in length) as well as a new piece you would like to explore (again no longer that three minutes in length). All levels of experience are welcome.
